INTRODUCING: Low Sea
Low Sea, neo-goth guy-girl duo from Ireland (via Bosnia and Liverpool, the south of France and the states) describe themselves as ‘grey disco’.
It’s dark and European, reminding me of Poni Hoax or Notic Nastic – but their debut album ‘Remote Viewing’ equally conjures up everything from Mazzy Star and Cocteau Twins, to Gary Numan and New Order.
Having released a mini album on US-based Lefse Records (How To Dress Well, Neon Indian) they apparently conspired with Dell’Orso records to release their self-proclaimed ‘narcotic pop album’ – which is out 1st April, so keep your well-eyelinered eyes peeled for a pre-order.
